Everest Itinerary
Daily itinerary: This itinerary may differ to circumstances out of our control.
1. Kathmandu: You finally arrive in Kathmandu after your long international flight. A representative will meet you at the airport and transfer
you to our favorite Kathmandu hotel, the Courtyard Hotel, where you will spend the day at leisure.
2. Kathmandu: We hold the expedition briefing, finish paperwork for the CTMA, obtain the Tibet group visa and the rest of the day is at
leisure.
3. Nyalam: We take a real early drive on a private bus to Kodari and cross into Tibet at Zhangmu. Hopefully we are early enough to make
the drive to Nyalam.
4. Nyalam: We spend a second evening at Nyalam for cautious acclimatization.
5. Tingri: We continue the drive across the Tibetan Plateau and drive to Tingri.
6. Tingri: We spend a second evening at Tingri for cautious acclimatization.
7. Base Camp: We make the final short drive to Old Chinese Base Camp.
8. Base Camp: We spend several days at base camp to acclimatize.
15. Climb: Climbing begins
57. Climb: Climbing ends
58. Kathmandu: Drive to Kathmandu and enjoy the luxury comforts of the Courtyard Hotel.
59. Kathmandu: Day at leisure in Kathmandu.
60. Depart: Depart Kathmandu for home.
