Phil Crampton
Phil Crampton is one of the most experienced and active 8000-meter guides presently working in the Himalayas. His wry British sense of humor, strong leadership skills, and passionate interest in both the mountains and people of the Himalayas and their culture ensure an unforgettable experience in high Asia. He has led over thirty Himalayan expeditions including twenty-one 8000-meter expeditions including Everest, summiting from both the Nepal and Tibet sides, Cho Oyu, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, Manaslu and Shishapangma. Elsewhere, he's led trips to Kang Guru, Mustagh Ata, Pumori, Denali, Aconcagua, and many other smaller peaks across the globe. Phil divides his time between Nepal, Pakistan and New York City which he calls home.
